"In moments of togetherness, we become each other's strength. That collective strength gradually changes the world."
Lee Byungkyu
Chairman
The Durihana Welfare Association was established in 2001 to assist the socially vulnerable and marginalized neighbors. Since its founding, we have focused on supporting people with disabilities and resolving welfare blind spots. We have consistently carried out various volunteer activities to foster a culture of coexisting with neighbors within the local community.
Going beyond simple material assistance, we focus on connecting people and instilling self-reliance and hope. We extend a helping hand across various fields, including rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities, elderly care, support for children from low-income families, and disaster relief aid.
Recently, as a Ministry of Justice probation officer, the Chairman also acts as a mentor and guide for those striving to start a new life after overcoming past mistakes, supporting them to firmly take root in the local community once again.
